My wife and I recently stopped in to OK Cafe on our way to the bank. It’s a little hard to notice while you’re walking on Ditmars, but once you see it, you’ll never miss it again… It’s a nice coffee shop with very nice decor and a few small tables for eating/drinking in. The vibe is really nice, exactly what you would expect from a modern coffee shop in the neighborhood. We were stopping in for our morning coffee and also a bite to eat since we were pretty hungry. So, we ordered two large house brew coffees along with two sandwiches. I had the grilled cheese & green apples sandwich, and my wife had the turkey & brie with cranberry sauce croissant. Just typing it reminds me of how good it was:) In any case, as you can imagine, the sandwiches were delicious. Total for both coffees and sandwiches was about $18 which is pretty reasonable. Suffice to say that they have a new customer in George & Abi. We love this little spot and encourage you all to check it out when you’re in the neighborhood!
